Week Twenty-Seven: Come As You Are
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.” — Isaiah 1:18
What an invitation from the Lord: “Come now, and let us reason together.” Though Israel had sinned greatly, God was still calling them near, offering cleansing and restoration. Their sins were scarlet, deeply stained and obvious, yet God promised to make them white as snow.
This reveals the heart of God toward sinners. He does not deny our guilt, but neither does He leave us in it. He calls us to come honestly, confess openly, and receive freely what only He can give. God specializes in washing what we cannot clean ourselves.
Maybe you carry regret, shame, or failure. Hear the Lord’s voice today and come now! Not later, when you improve yourself, but now! Bring the stain to the Savior, and let Him do what grace alone can accomplish.
