Have you ever felt like quitting? Ever asked yourself, “Why am I doing this?” Even those who are faithful and have learned their lessons can sometimes still come to the end of the road. We can wonder what those faithful years of service were all about. Who are they for? What was the point?

We can lose sight of the big picture in the midst of our faithful service. It isn’t hard to do. The writer to the Hebrews reminds us in Hebrews 6:10 that even if we lose sight, God never will. He writes:

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
