Week Thirty-One: Living By Faith
“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.” — Habakkuk 2:4
“The just shall live by faith.” This short statement echoes throughout Scripture because it captures the foundation of the Christian life. We are made right with God by faith, and we continue walking with God by faith. Faith is not merely how we begin—it is how we live each day!
Faith means trusting God when circumstances seem shaky. Habakkuk ministered during troubling times and could not understand what God was thinking, allowing so many hardships to His people at the hands of the wicked. God reminded him that the righteous are sustained not by explanations, but by trust. We may not always understand what God is doing, but we can trust who He is.
Today, choose faith over panic, trust over cynicism, obedience over hesitation. Living by faith means taking God at His Word and moving forward with confidence in His character.
