Week Ten: Walk in the Light
For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. — Luke 12:2
Jesus’ words remind us that nothing remains hidden forever. What is covered will be uncovered, and what is concealed will one day come into the light. We may be able to manage appearances for a time, but truth will be revealed.
The sober reality is God sees not only our actions, but also our motives, intentions, and private conclusions as well. Integrity is living in such a way that we choose rightly when no one else is watching.
Yet this verse is also deeply comforting. Hidden faithfulness will be recognized. Quiet obedience is not wasted. And injustice, lies, and wrongdoing will not have the final word. God’s justice is thorough, patient, and certain.
Because truth will be revealed, we are invited to live honestly now—walking in the light, trusting that God’s way is better than hiding, and believing that His truth ultimately brings freedom, not fear.
