Week Three: The 50-20 Club

“You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good…” — Genesis 50:20

 There are times when we experience feelings of unfairness, betrayal, or injustice. But Genesis 50:20 reminds us that the evil intentions of others cannot undo the goodness and sovereignty of God.

Joseph’s story shows us a man being shaped by God through hardship so he could one day bring deliverance to many. The cruelty of others placed him in painful situations more than once, yet Joseph held onto a bigger picture—God meant it for good!

If you are struggling to see God’s goodness in something painful or unfair right now, begin by thanking Him in advance by faith—even before you see the answer. He will work all things for His glory and for your good in time as you continue walking with Him. Let’s learn to be a part of the 50-20 club!
