Week One: The Glory of God

“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans3:23

 Is there anyone who does not sin in word or deed? Even with the new heart we received from believing in Jesus, we still find ourselves struggling with temptations from this “body of death!” But keeps us ask the Lord for help and seeking His mercy and grace in this battle!

 An honest awareness of our sin isn’t meant to lead us to despair—it drives us to humility and to deeper faith. When Paul urged the Corinthians to examine themselves, it wasn’t to measure performance, but to re-anchor their faith in Jesus and His finished work.

This week, invite the Lord to search your heart, and rest in the confidence that the final evaluation of your life belongs to a righteous and gracious Judge who loves you.
